About the Role:

Are you a seasoned security and Fire Alarm systems technician ready to take the lead? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our growing team as a Lead Commercial Security& Fire Alarm Installation Technician. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' businesses through the installation, testing, and maintenance of critical security and Fire Alarm systems.

Responsibilities:

The Lead Commercial Security& Fire Alarm Installation Technicianwill:

• Lead and oversee a team of technicians in the installation, testing, and commissioning of Fire Alarm and security systems in complex commercial environments.
• Provide expert technical guidance and support to your team.
• Conduct thorough site surveys and develop installation plans based on NFPA and code requirements.
• Install and configure a variety of systems, including Fire Alarms, access control systems, CCTV cameras, intrusion detection systems, and network-based systems.
• Test and troubleshoot systems to ensure proper functionality and adherence to all codes and regulations.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of existing systems.
• Train clients on the operation and use of their systems.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety and quality in all aspects of your work.

Qualifications:

TheLead Commercial Security& Fire Alarm Installation Technician should have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial fire and security Installation Technician.
• Experience leading and mentoring a team of technicians. Strong understanding of NFPA and local fire and security codes.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle and travel within Rochester region
• Certifications in Fire Alarm systems is a plus.

Salary: $25+ per hour based on experience
