Are you passionate about entering the dynamic field of Electronic Security and Life Safety Systems? Illinois Alarm is currently seeking an Entry-Level Installation Assistant to join our team. As an Installation Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Installation and Service Team in their daily tasks and ensuring our subscribers’ needs are met in a professional manner.
Responsibilities:
Assist Installation Technicians in pulling wire, mounting devices, conduit installations, and fulfilling other installation requirements as per job specifications.
Support Service Technicians during two-men inspections, and any additional tasks as needed.
Demonstrate a keen eye for detail to uphold the quality standards of Illinois Alarm Service.
Have strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Drive our own personnel vehicle to and from job sites, with reimbursement at the current mileage rate.
Requirements:
Some prior experience in low voltage fields or background in relevant trade school preferred.
Ability to drive and possess a valid drivers’ license with a clean driving record and able to drive-in all-weather conditions.
Clean background to obtain a P.E.R.C. Card.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Excellent communication skills and collaborative attitude with a team environment.
Able to lift at least thirty (30) pounds.
Able to climb ladders.
Not afraid of heights.
