We are currently hiring an Inspector (Swing Shift 3:30pm - 12:00am)
Position Summary:
Performs visual inspection of post-solder dipped components, BGAs, CGAs, and others and ensures that products conform to requirements
Understands work instructions, inspection criteria documents, and manufacturing instructions
Generates Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)
Escalates NCRs or other quality issues to the lead/supervisor as needed
Presents problems or inefficiencies with a recommended solution to the lead/supervisor
Participates in implementing efficiency improvements and solutions
Carries out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Protects company proprietary information
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma; AA or AS Degree Preferred
Minimum 3 years Visual inspection experience in PCB or semiconductor packaging industry or equivalent
Skilled in microscope and reticle use
Skilled in measuring tools (calipers, micrometer, toolmaker's scope, optical comparator, etc.)
Knowledge of quality control systems
Knowledge of microelectronic packaging, solder defects, and ESD
Computer literate and able to use databases
Detail oriented; ability to perform repetitive tasks thoroughly and efficiently without error
Mechanically inclined is a plus
Chemical safety and awareness is a plus
Hand/finger dexterity (able to handle small components)
No physical sensitivities or limitations to chemicals handling
