We are seeking a reliable and experienced Route Driver to join our team. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations efficiently and on time. This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent driving skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate any issues or delays with the dispatch team promptly
Experience:
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Ability to navigate using GPS or other routing devices
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical stamina to load and unload goods as needed
- Outstanding customer service skills
