Job Description
The Transportation Division of AECOM is actively seeking a Construction Field Inspector for immediate employment in the Novi, MI office. This position provides the opportunity to work on large, unique, and complex transportation projects in Michigan and throughout the country.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Field inspection and oversight of transportation construction projects including bridges, road, traffic signals, signing, ITS and underground facilities.
- Monitor and record the work and progress of contractors, while tracking material quality and usage using FieldBook, AASHTOWare and ProjectWise.
- Verify that traffic control measures are implemented and maintained during construction.
- Maintain communication between AECOM supervisors and peers, MDOT and local agency personnel, contractor personnel.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of construction principles and practices
- Ability to document any and all relevant events, issues and variances
Additional Information
Offered rate of compensation (Michigan locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00
