Job summary:
Shift Inspector is responsible to inspect and release jet engine parts in our Middletown, NY facility
This is a 3rd Shift Sunday through Thursday 10:50pm to 7am
Key Responsibilities:

• Visual inspection (incoming, in-process, final)
• Interpretation of specs/prints
• Review of PO requirements
• Review final documentation
• Able to lift up to 24 pounds (25-49 pounds with assistance)
• Ability to work overtime when necessary

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
• 3 months experience using Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 months aerospace experience
• 6 months experience in quality inspection.

• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder
• Pratt & Whitney Middletown, NY is an FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as a pre-employment contingency and also subject to ongoing random testing as an employee per FAA's regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

• Onsite. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is $22.55 to $25.75; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
