We are looking for an Inside Salesperson for the CIMTEC sales team. This sales team sells over $30 million annually of factory automation control products and services to hundreds of manufacturing companies throughout the Carolinas and Virginia. The ideal candidate will generate reoccurring revenue by building relationships with customers, offer additional products and services and proactively target new customers by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
· Uncover customer needs to best recommend parts and service solutions to solve their immediate situation and lay the groundwork for subsequent sales.
· Establish relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and customer retention.
· Handles inbound calls and emails to convert into sales.
· Sells additional products and services to customers proactively.
· Works with Outside Sales Engineers to provides workable alternatives to customer problems.
· Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sets appointments for Sales Engineers when practical.
· Prepares quotes for customers.
· Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CRM.
Qualifications
· Experience with industrial sales preferred.
· Anticipates customer needs and develops appropriate solutions, consistently placing a high value on customers
· Initiates and develops business relationships in a positive way and persuades others in a positive manner
· Ability to multi-task and committed to meeting customer requests and deadlines
· Preferred 2-year Associates Degree or 5 years in technical sales or support.
· 2+ years Inside Sales experience
· Proficient with MS Office Suite of software tools
Prioritization
· Quote and follow-up on all quotes immediately. (Ask for the order).
· Know the top priority customers (RSM/Sales Engineers can help) and insure rapid response always.
· The larger the order the harder we work to execute the process.
