Position Summary
The Inside Sales Intern will partner with other sales professionals to grow our business with current customers while also researching potential new customers for sales teams to target. This is a role for someone who is personable and internally motivated. This position is an in-person role at our Plymouth, MN corporate headquarters.
This position reports to the VP of Marketing – Digital.
According to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), this position is classified as: Non-exempt
What You’ll Be Doing
- Adopt a persistent and resilient sales mentality, emphasizing the importance of never giving up
- Foster a team-oriented approach, supporting colleagues, staying positive, and working together toward success
- Take pride in work, maintain a winning mentality, and prioritize customer success
- Focus on growing business in various accounts, collaborating with outside sales when necessary
- Engage online customers, aiming to understand their projects and businesses
- Proactively handle leads by utilizing multiple touchpoints, following up regularly
- Use the triple threat technique, educate, agitate, differentiate, and convert to opportunities when able
- Leverage Zoominfo to expand customer profiles in SalesForce for better account penetration
- Engage prospects from marketing campaigns and provide feedback on lead scoring thresholds
- Focus on accounts from Strategic Directors actively participating in the account planning process
- Support corporate sales campaigns
- Use SalesForce to keep records of activities, customer interactions, opportunities, and CPQ quotes
- Delegate order management tasks falling under Customer Service responsibilities, ensuring transparency and thorough communication

Required
- Currently pursuing a related Undergraduate degree in sales, business, or related field
- Established coursework that can complement this internship
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office 365
Preferred
- Exposure to or experience with Oracle, Salesforce, or BI reporting tools
