This position provides support and analysis to support sales and operations functions. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure customers’ demand is properly loaded in the system by maintaining master records for pricing and cross references.
- Coordinate with Japan HQ and other overseas sales offices receiving updated pricing information in the correct currency, review to ensure accuracy and update master records accordingly.
- Support sales sample activities, including order maintenance, sample shipment and documentation.
- Provide customer support by providing documents, such as product datasheets, specifications, reliability data, qualification data, environmental declarations, and conflict minerals reporting. 5. Support sales on price quotations to customers by checking item validation, promotion status and preparing the quotation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with MRP, ERP and/or POS software preferred.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and multitask.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers, customers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner; both written and orally, including effective business writing.
- Ability to work independently with general supervision.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or 3- 5 years’ work experience in supply chain.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, or similar programs are required.
