About the Position
Smartway, a Bridgeway company, is seeking energetic Inside Sales Representatives to join our growing team in Humble, Texas. As an Inside Sales Representative specializing in freight transportation, your primary responsibility will be to generate revenue and drive business growth by selling freight transportation services to clients. You will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, building relationships, and closing sales deals. Additionally, you will collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain ongoing customer relationships. This role requires a strong understanding of the freight transportation industry, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to sales.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential customers in need of freight transportation services.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Actively prospect and qualify leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.
- Maintain a pipeline of potential clients and manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to understand their unique requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deals in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with team members to share best practices, provide feedback and contribute to sales strategy improvement.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all client interactions.
