There is a very good chance that you have seen or used their product before. They have a great working environment in RI offices/HQ. It is work in the office, but they are flexible for people needing to WFH every now and again. To repeat, it is an “in the office” situation. We actually have two roles here. Both are inside sales positions and both require no travel and both are handling established accounts. The Key Account role is a Senior role.
Inside Sales Representative:
The Inside Sales Representative works to expand revenue by working with current and potential customers, guiding them through the sales process and towards products or services to support customers in remedying their problems.
The Inside Sales Representative is viewed as a value-added resource to accounts and builds relationship and trust with customers. This position reports directly to the Director of Sales & Service and works with the overall sales team to provide customer service to accounts and close new business with current accounts. This position is supported by Sales Support and assigns work to the Sales Support department as needed
Job Duties:
- Solicit new sales opportunities from current accounts
- Manage accounts and build strong relationships with customers
- Meet sales goals and objectives set by Director of Sales & Customer Service
- Submits priority ship lists to the Director of Sales for manufactured plastic products (this is temporary)
- Reviews purchase orders from customers. Confirm accurate and updated pricing, part numbers, and ensure pertinent information is captured before submitting purchase order to order entry
- Determine if correlating products should be offered to customers for upsell opportunities
- Support marketing team in its endeavors
- Guide customers and prospect through the company’s sales process, following all company policies, quality standards and record keeping, in accordance with ISO-9001 and operating procedures
- Quote new business. Research potential new customers to determine best strategy and plan of action to win and retain sales
- Document all sales activities in CRM / ERP systems. Create and maintain accounts and account contact information
- Utilize internal resources to ensure our best product options are offered to customers
- Organize meetings to consult with other departments and employees as needed
- Understand overall organization and make good strategic decisions that will positively affect the overall company. Meet with management as needed
- Delegate work to sales support team as needed
- Report competitor pricing, market trends, and overall feedback within industry to senior staff and team members. Document findings within ERP / CRM
- Answer all customer and prospective customer questions and concerns accurately and timely. Document these accurately in CRM / ERP
- Travels as needed – generally 1 or 2 times per year. This is a base plus uncapped commission position with an additional pooled bonus structure based on yearly performance of the entire sales team
Senior Inside Sales Specialist or Key Account:
This person will work to expand revenue by working with current and potential customers, guiding them through the sales process and towards products or services to support customers in remedying their problems. The Key Inside Sales Specialist is viewed as a value-added resource to accounts and builds relationship and trust with customers.
The Senior Inside Sales Specialist reports directly to the Director of Sales & Service and may work with both outside sales and the marking to close new business and properly evaluate new leads for follow up. This position is supported by Sales Support and assigns work to the Sales Support department as needed.
The Senior Inside Sales Specialist will also be given larger more qualified leads from marketing and or the Director of Sales with greater earning potentials.

- Employ leads generated by marketing to prospect for new business and relationships
- Guide customers and prospect through the company’s sales process, following all company policies, quality standards and record keeping, in accordance with ISO-9001 and operating procedures
- Quote new business. Research potential new customers to determine best strategy and plan of action to win and retain sales
- Document all sales activities in CRM / ERP systems. Create and maintain accounts and account contact information
- Utilize internal resources to ensure our best product options are offered to customers
- Organize meetings to consult with other departments and employees as needed
