Insert Mold Operator – Medical Devices

Ranfac is looking for a Machine Shop/Mold Operator to operate the molding process and manufacture quality parts made to print for second or third shift, Monday – Friday, (first) 4:00 pm – Midnight or (second) 11:30 p.m - 7:30 a.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Past molding experience in inserting, loading parts and operating a molding or machine press machine prefered.
• Ability to measure parts with calipers and use gage pins to ensure the correct lengths and specifications are met.
• Must know production rates and ability to inspect and identify quality product.
• Strong attention to detail by counting parts for accuracy.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures, blueprints and specifications.
• Packages, labels, and bag parts into bins and stacking parts into a container.

Other Requirements

• Fundamental molding machining principles and 1 years of experience in molding machinery prefered.
• Strong math skills - Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong Analytical skills –Blueprints, schematics, models and other specifications
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and respond to requests in a timely and respectful manner.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Commitment and ability to follow safety rules and procedures and utilize safety equipment.
• Able to exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects and required to stand for periods of time or move throughout the factory.
• Dependable, flexible and ability to work independently during the second shift, Monday – Friday, 4:00 pm – Midnight.
• High school diploma or GED
