OVERVIEW
Packing/ Measuring Plastic parts and tend to automatic equipment utilized in the Injection Molding Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform work according to quality and safety standards set for the operation.
- Checks appearance of completed parts for compliance with the quality standards set for the operation.
- Counts, Labels, and packages parts for stock.
- Start up and shut down Injection Molding machine and auxiliary equipment throughout molding department
- Be able to use pallet jack to move stock and plastic material around the molding department.
- Maintain close observation of machine operations such as alarms, and plastic material supply.
- Work with manager when machine problems require assistance.
- Work as a team to help each other and attain daily goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); experience in a Molding department preferred.
- Preferred experience working with manufacturing equipment and/or other environments that use equipment within their role.
