Position Summary
The Registered Rehabilitation Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the assessment, planning, coordinating, providing, and evaluating total nursing care for rehabilitation patients based on current standards of practice / standards of care as appropriate to meet patients' needs.
Minimum Education
Successful completion of an Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school is required.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Certifications/License
Licenses: Requires a current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license upon hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) with in 30 days of hire
Minimum Work Experience
1 year of experience in a health care setting is preferred.
