Subvrsive is an immersive Innovation Studio on a mission to leave the internet better than we found it. Founded in 2015 with deep roots in virtual and augmented reality, we’ve earned a reputation for innovatively and effectively applying new technologies in ways that disrupt the status quo. And we’ve done just that for partners big and small, trusted by teams at Google, Amazon, Netflix, Ford, TikTok, Snapchat and more.

At Subvrsive, we are always looking for great talent to join our team. We hire for a variety of roles across our company including Creative (CRUX), Engineering, Digital Content, Client Partnerships, New Business, and Project Management. Our roles can be contract, contract-to-hire, or direct-hire. Our typical hiring needs include:

• Art Directors
  • Lead the day-to-day creative on projects for our clients both in concepting and execution.
• Client Partners
  • Understand client business needs and cultivate strong, long-term client relationships.
• Digital Content
  • This team consists of Social AR Filter Creators, 3D Artists, 360-videographers, and other niche creative roles.
• Engineers / Developers
  • Our current techstack is React & Typescript on the front-end and Node & Typescript on the backend (with code and CD/CI pipelines hosted in Azure DevOps).
  • 3D WebGL (Three.js/Babylon.js libraries) as well as WebAR (using 8th Wall), so experience or an interest in these technologies would be a big plus!
• Project Managers
  • Ensure the timely, process-driven delivery of multiple, simultaneous large-scale projects while helping our Client Partners deliver exceptional client service.
• Visual Designers
  • Flex your creativity and design immersive experiences for a variety of exciting brands.

If hired, you can:

• Work remotely within the US (with the occasional travel to our offices in Austin)
• Work flexible hours, as long as you're available for meetings within the standard work day (9-5 CST)
