Inland Supply Company, a leader in janitorial supplies and cleaning consultations, is excited to announce an opening for an Assistant Buyer. This role is instrumental in supporting our main purchaser and contributing to the efficiency of our procurement processes.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Buyer, you will:

• Collaborate closely with our main purchaser, to ensure smooth procurement operations.
• Utilize various tools and systems to assist in the replenishment of inventory and supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory levels.
• Work effectively with internal teams, including sales and operations, to understand and meet their procurement needs.
• Develop and sustain positive relationships with suppliers, negotiating for the best prices and terms.
• Assist in inventory management, including stock counts and reordering of supplies as needed.
• Play a key role in ensuring that procurement activities align with company policies and standards.

Who We Are Looking For:

• A proactive and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a dynamic environment.
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement or a related field.
• Familiarity with inventory and procurement systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and with various departments.

Job Details:

• Full-time position.
• Location: 2820 Mill Street Reno, NV.
• 8 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
