Job Title:
Infusion Lead - Graveyard Shift
Job Description: Ensure the quality and efficiency of batches at batch level by supervising a small crew of 1 – 8 production personnel including coaching and leading by example.
Responsibilities:
- Get information directly from the shift supervisor on the progress of the group and batch that is assigned to process. This includes amount of acids, flavors and all other ingredients that need to be added.
- Talk with leads from previous shifts to get information on progress of batches in process.
- Effectively assign production employees to tasks to get tasks completed properly and efficiently as per company SOP’s.
- Perform production team member task when needed efficiently.
- Communicate with Supervisor any concerns or issues with quality of fruit, syrup, or ingredients.
- Record lots and quantities of syrups, sweeteners, and other ingredients used in specific batches of fruit accurately and complete paperwork in a timely manner.
- Use and care for equipment as trained and communicate any equipment issues to the Supervisor immediately.
- Report all syrup losses as they happen and as trained.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work area.
High school education/GED; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Knowledge of MFI Infusion Process
Ability to effectively communicate with other personnel before/during/after infusion to ensure product quality
Working Conditions:
Loud manufacturing environment. Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift and be able to lift 50 lbs. Will be occasionally exposed to outside elements for extended periods of time (wind, rain, heat, cold, snow, etc). Exposure to high temperatures/humid conditions indoors during seasonal months. Working environment also includes usage of fluids which are heated up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.

Hours are 10PM - 630AM Monday - Friday and ability to work Saturdays when requested.
