Infrastructure Operations Manager

This is a true management position. They will consider someone willing to move to Buffalo.. This person must have managed people – doing performance reviews, true management, delivery of projects, goals, coaching / mentoring. They want someone who will look at how things are and seek to improve them. They want someone polished who can work with bankers to figure out the best ways to support business goals with technology.
Must Haves:

1) 7 years of experience as a technology manager working in an enterprise IT environment

2) Experience with performance reviews, hiring, mentoring a team of technology professionals
3) 7 years of experience working with infrastructure technology
4) Experience supporting technology in one of the following:
o OpenShift
o Linux
o Windows OS
5) Engineering experience with one of the following:
o Networking
o Storage
o Firewalls
o Load balancing
Preferred
1) Skills in Ansible and Ansible Tower for automation of code deployments
2) Experience supporting a wide range of operating systems and cloud technologies
3) Experience supporting applications in an on-premises and cloud environment in either Azure or AWS
4) Experience with platform, virtualization technologies, cloud technologies, and container technologies
Responsibilities

· Deliver platforms that meet defined requirements from the Business / Application delivery teams.

· Adhere to corporate policies and provide quality of service for application platform infrastructure.

· Manage multiple priorities and tasks in support of corporate initiatives.

· Continuous development of efficient processes and automation.

· Compliance with Operational Processes: Daily Operations, Change Management, & Problem Management.

· Mentor and develop team members to reach their potential.

· Follow and document processes, ensuring systems meet defined SLA's and implementing established security standards.

· Lead or participate in (un)planned maintenance outages which are well organized, with effectively communicated goals and executed to meet desired results.

· Perform and report statistics for team and system health checks on an appropriate frequency.

· Respond to customer/client requirements and develop and/or implement programs or technical solutions to satisfy customer/client requests.

· Adhere to defined service level agreements.

Required Skills and Experience

· A minimum of seven years of experience as a technology manager working in an enterprise IT environment

· Experience with performance reviews, hiring, mentoring a team of technology professionals

· Seven years of experience working with infrastructure technology

· Experience supporting technology in one of the following: OpenShift, Linux, or Windows OS

· Engineering experience with one of the following: networking, storage, firewalls, and load balancing

Preferred Skills and Experience
