The person in this role supports members of the investment team in performance reporting, advisory platform management, vendor project management, and maintaining due diligence files.
Responsibilities:
- Assist team with onboarding & continuous monitoring of accounts on our vendor platforms
- Work directly with vendors to resolve any issues related to account management, trading, reporting, billing, etc.
- Work independently and collaboratively between vendors and across the firm to meet deliverables and ensure a smooth, and effective project implementation
- Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, trading desk, supervisory & compliance on home office initiatives
- Maintain performance reporting across Wealth Management
- Track documentation and coordination with in-house counsel
- Maintain the internal and external shared databases for investment due diligence.
- Understand and contribute to the team’s investment research processes
- Oversee ongoing monitoring of operational due diligence for alternative investments including reviewing reports and relevant news articles
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated interest in financial services
- 1-2+ years of related finance /operations experience
- Advanced Microsoft Power Point, Excel, and Word skills
- Strong written and communication skills as well as strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Solid ability to communicate and interact effectively with multiple teams
- Ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines, and quickly adjust to changing priorities
- Highly motivated with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with Addepar and Envestnet preferred but not required
- Ability to collaborate across different business units (Support, IT Teams, Jefferies Institutional Platform, etc.) to ensure smooth implementation and integration of new functionality.
- Successful completion of Series 7 and Series 66 Exams within the time frame provided
The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $105,000.
