Overview
JST is currently seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO).

ISSO Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical authority on all matters related to system security, ensuring compliance with RMF and FISMA guidelines.
- Implement and enforce mandatory access control techniques, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate system vulnerabilities, proposing and implementing effective countermeasures.
- Collaborate with the software development and IA teams, ensuring security considerations are integrated into all phases of development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security threats and devise strategies to counteract them.
ISSO Qualifications
- Any approved Identity and Access Management (IAM) Level II Certification: CAP, CASP CE, CISM, CISSP or Associate, or GSLC
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5-years experience as an ISSO
- Minimum 5-years experience with managing teams in a similar environment
- Minimum 5-years management and practical experience in conducting Certification and Accreditation (RMF A&A) in a DoD environment
- Security+ (Comp TIA) certification
ISSO Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 10-years of experience as an ISSO or experience in a similar technical area
Required Clearances and Screenings
- MUST have an active Secret clearance or higher
- MUST be able to successfully pass a drug screen and background check
