Information Specialist

Title: Information Archivist / Knowledge Management Specialist (Part-Time)

Position Summary

This position is a unique opportunity for an individual with experience in information organization. The Company seeks a driven, patient, and creative person to help revamp the current information structure. A rare opportunity for new and seasoned professionals alike with visibility into the Company’s day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• This is a part-time position located in downtown Chicago

• Must be able to work evenings and weekends

• Previously worked in knowledge management

• Preferably studied library and information science

• Experience with organization, access, collection, and regulation of information whether in physical or digital forms

• Experience in structuring company file structures and data, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

• History working in change management around data structures and knowledge management.

• Able to develop knowledge management best practices and training for use across the company.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Extremely detail oriented.

• Must be able to prioritize and work effectively in a constantly changing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Works directly with the Company’s Director of Strategy and Operations and/or Founder.

• Aid them in restructuring the company’s server.

• Assists with special projects as needed.

Reports to: Director of Strategy and Operations

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: $21.15 - $25.47 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

• Chicago, IL 60606: Relocate before starting work (Required)
