Job Overview

As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's data and systems. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential security risks, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Duties

• This position will assist with maintaining certification by continuously performing internal audit of IT security controls to ensure adherence to policies
• Collaborates with the IT department to audit the IT security controls to ensure compliance with relevant security policies
• Collects and reviews required control evidence and artifacts for completeness, accuracy, and operating effectiveness
• Reports audit findings to management and partners with the IT department on remediation planning and scheduling
• Assists with evidence gathering to support client and regulatory security audits and assessments; attends related meetings as necessary
• Assists with Security Awareness Training for staff
• Assists with coordinating various audits including penetration tests, social engineering and phishing
• Review and update related policies and procedures at least annually
• Document and/or diagrams technology, solutions, and configurations including but not limited to identity management, network management, change control, systems monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and configuration management to support audit and reporting consistency
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in applicable field, such as Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of technical compliance or audit experience
• Demonstrated experience with implementing and maintaining compliance with HIPAA
• Demonstrated experience in a dynamic fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of analysis, assessment, and application of IT security controls
• Strong analytical skills required; must be very detail-oriented with an ability to develop and apply complex concepts
• Demonstrated experience with building workflows and automating manual tasks
• Technically proficient in performing assigned duties at a high-level of independence under minimal supervision while working within a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to interact in a positive, respectful manner and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
• Ability to display excellent customer service to meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
