As an Information Security intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the ever expanding field of Information security. You will work closely with various teams in Information Security to support and continue to mature Applovin's Information Security initiatives and programs.
The Impact You'll Make- Assist in tracking, monitoring, remediation and reporting of security vulnerabilities related to Infrastructures and Application Code
- Collaborate with the Information Technology (IT) and DevOps team to implement and run patch management processes
- Participate and contribute to internal and external audit activities and evidence gathering processes
- Assist in the User Access Review efforts
- Work with the Security Engineering team to gain understanding of 1st line of Defense tools and tune them appropriately
- Participate in the review of 3rd Party Vendors
- Help with Security Awareness training and education efforts
- Collaborate with the SOC team to monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field
- Good understanding of Cybersecurity principles and technologies
- Basic understanding of Cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO
- Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiatives
- Hands on experience in scripting languages (ex. Python)
- Relevant coursework, certifications ( e.g. Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)), or prior intern experience in Cybersecurity
