- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or Security, or equivalent professional experience (Required)
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Information Security (Required)
- Practical experience with Security control design and development from business requirements analysis through implementation and support (Required)
- Experience configuring and maintaining security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners (Required)
- AWS Cloud Experience (AWS WAF, SecurityHub, GuardDuty) (Required)
- Experience with OKTA or other SSO Technologies (Required)
- Technical Certifications a plus (Security+, GIAC) (Preferred)
- The following certifications are also a plus (ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor, CISA, CRISC, etc. certification (preferred)
- Ability to communicate issues, impacts and corrective actions as they affect security control design and implementation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Capacity to analyze complex problems and propose innovative solutions
- Ability to work during Central Standard Time Hours
- Participate as a member of the Information Security Team in developing and maintaining TopBlocs security strategy.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, DLP, and SIEM (security information and event management) solutions.
- Actively participate as a member of the security team to successfully and thoroughly investigate and respond to security alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities identified by security tools and other sources.
- Identify and evaluate Information Security risks; implement solutions to mitigate those risks
- Create and maintain the security documentation library of policies, standards, and procedures.
- Facilitate the operational support and implementation of IAM and RBAC
- Participate actively in internal and external audits and provide required evidence.
- Manage customer and partner security requirements (questionnaires, presentations)
- Maintain and ensure confidentiality of TopBloc and client data
- Ensure timely completion of tasks within CST working hours
