Infant/Toddler And School Age Child Care Staff

We would like care-givers for our Infant/Toddler and School-age classrooms.

We are open 6am-6pm Mon-Fri. We need part and full-time staff. We are willing to work around college schedules and other individual responsibilities.

Upon hire, the staff will need to pass an Ohio and federal background check, and get a completed medical form from your physician.

We are a Christian-based center that is licensed with ODJFS. We have all STAR-Rated programs and our Children come first always!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Starting Salary: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour

MUST HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED

Duties:

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as diapering and potty training
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to promote positive interactions
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of the children

Skills:

- Experience in childcare, such as babysitting, nannying, or working in a classroom or preschool setting
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures for children
- Strong classroom management skills to create a structured and organized environment
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors and implement behavior management techniques
- Understanding of child development principles and the ability to tailor activities to different age groups
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and other staff members
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine love for working with children
