Salary: $34,000-$45,136 - Competitive tiered salary based on qualifications and experience + benefits

Overview
We are looking to hire a full-time Infant teacher at both our Main St location.
Cultivate Mankato is a Child Development and Resource Center located downtown. Our facilities offer beautiful homey aesthetics, onsite kitchen, common room for student mealtimes, and teacher resource rooms for all classroom materials.
Cultivate Mankato seeks to create opportunities for children to engage with their community and create meaningful relationships that cultivate a sense of belonging. Primary Objective/Scope
When you join our team as an Infant Teacher, you will:
1. Ensure the safety and health of children by creating and adapting a safe and stimulating environment of learning.
2. Provide a consistent, positive, and nurturing environment.
3. Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
4. Be a proactive partner with parents by communicating on a daily basis to discuss the development of their enrolled children and to better understand how to serve their family’s needs.
5. Ensure the Child Care Program Plan is being implemented accurately and continually search for ways to improve the plan annually.
6. Work alongside other teachers and staff in implementing projects derived from the Creative Curriculum structure while also remaining flexible to the learning opportunities that children present in the classroom.
7. Actively participate in a group setting by co-creating lesson plans appropriate for each child’s social, emotional, education, and health needs that are play-based in nature.
8. Support the children by developing and implementing program activities and play opportunities that meet each child’s social, emotional, educational, and health needs.
9. Become a documentor and observer in the classroom by completing daily records for each child.
10. Ensure opening and closing duties are completed as assigned.
11. Prepare reports to CPS and/or DHS to ensure the safety and well-being of all children cared for at the center.
12. Attend professional and personal development training.
Required Qualifications
1. Four year degree AND equivalent workforce experience in a licensed child care center, or a public or non-public school serving children aged 12 years and younger.
2. Ability to build healthy relationships with families and coworkers
3. Experience creating lesson plans and the ability to co-create a dynamic environment with children where play and learning happens
4. Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and manage multiple situations effectively
5. CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
6. Ability to pass a background check
7. English language proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
1. State of MN teaching license with Kindergarten endorsement
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee must:
1. Be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency.
2. Be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds safely.
3. Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
4. Be able to assume postures in lower levels to allow physical contact with children.
5. See and hear well enough to keep children safe.
6. Engage in physical activity with children.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling during our open hours of operation, Monday through Friday, 6:30AM to 6:00PM, with 40 hours minimum. Extended hours may be necessary to cover staffing during center hours.
Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
