This is a long term position.
The parents are seeking to hire a nanny with three-plus years of infant through toddler experience. The ideal candidate would have specific experience adhering to a daily schedule directed by the parents, fully engaging with a child while playing, and most importantly, providing a safe, loving, and enriching environment for a child, The ideal candidate will also be tender-hearted, exhibit a loving demeanor, be able to commit to the position long-term, and have the ability to provide infant care, as documented, by verifiable references.
Food and rest breaks are expected to be taken during the child’s sleeping times or times when she is being breastfed by her mother during her mother’s telework days.
General overall duties will consist of:
Care for and engage with the infant
Constantly monitor for safety and other needs such as toileting and rest
Prep meals and bottles
Comfortable handling and experience with food allergies
Take walks and engage and monitor age-appropriate outdoor activities
Communicate with parent(s) about infant’s activities and well-being (e.g., any illness or injury symptoms)
Ensure kitchen and general areas are kept clean and tidy after use
Candidates should demonstrate an ability to be interactive with the children as they develop, engaging with age-appropriate conversation, reading, and active play. Singing, dancing, and having fun are encouraged. No screen-time permitted.
Candidates must become infant/child CPR & First Aid certified and pass a comprehensive background check.
