Job Summary:
Sales Representative with a primary influence in Industrial Hydraulic markets will have a primary focus for Industrial/Hydraulic distributors and OEM accounts, working to maintain or ensure growth in the assigned markets. Their responsibilities provide effective assistance in resolving complex issues, identifying customer needs and sales opportunities and training new team members. They may also perform calls and correspondence, respond to inquiries and must resolve issues promptly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Work collaboratively with other internal departments and customers to resolve customer issues effectively as they arise in a timely manner.
· Establish and maintain effective contact with potential and existing customers, as well as other stakeholders.
· Research and suggest changes to product portfolios, terms and conditions such as discounts, freight, terms, payments and pricing.
· Work collaboratively with existing customers and internal departments to identify areas for potential growth.
· Identify and engage effectively with potential customers in the Industrial/Hydraulic markets.
· Maintain market and competitor awareness, develop and present ideas for new opportunities.
· Update and maintain relevant customer information in our ERP system.
· Support sales and customer service activities in other markets as needed.
· Ability to work well both independently and in a group, sharing ideas and problem solving.
· Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other members of the sales and customer service team as well as overlapping departments.
· Must maintain confidentiality of Cim-Tek and customer information referred to in Cim-Tek policies.
· Basic understanding of hydraulic applications/systems and a willingness to learn about the filtration requirements.
· Frequently enter quotes for private label/plain white parts for both new and existing customers.
· Help customers determine the ideal filtration, adapters, and accessories needed for their specific application.
· Field troubleshooting questions/calls/emails as they come in and help the customer to find resolution. May involve seeking input from engineering, the sales manager, or other departments.
· Understand (or be willing to learn about) Beta Ratios, filtration efficiencies, and ISO Cleanliness Requirements.
· Some overnight travel may be required.
· Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent Required, some related college coursework preferred
· At least 5 years related sales experience in a B2B environment or educational equivalent experience preferred
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent Computer and Organizational skills – MS Excel, Work, Outlook and PowerPoint
Physical Requirements:
· Maintain professional appearance and abide by company conduct, dress code policies
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
· Must be able to lift to 15 lbs. at times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37,789.00 - $62,852.00 per year
