Industrial Sales Manager

Midco Diving & Marine Services, Inc. has conducted a variety of inland diving operations since 2003. Past projects include underwater inspection, underwater construction services, potable water tank diving, contaminated diving, as well as hazardous materials. Reliable solutions for inland water diving is our goal.

Description: We are seeking an Industrial Sales Manager to aide in the continued growth of the Midco Diving & Marine Services, Inc. The candidate will have strong communication skills, as well as knowledge of bidding processes and potential clients. This position will assist the existing team of supervisors, divers & business developers to expand current company client base and capabilities. These areas include underwater construction, power generation plant maintenance and support, inspection, salvage, and emergency spill response. Position is based out of Rapid City, SD. Travel and overnight stays may be required on occasion to attend national trade shows and other events.

Responsibilities / Attributes:

• Solicit potential or current clients by phone or email
• Maintain sales/business development information in CRM software tool
• Prepare and submit proposals to new and existing clients
• Conduct presentations as needed
• Meet or exceed monthly performance metrics
• Maintain an awareness of industry trends and competitor activities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Develop joint venture partners and agency relationships
• Market new business opportunities and maintain business relationships through industry organizations and annual conferences/trade shows

Industrial Sales Manager Requirements:

• Knowledge or ability to learn the occupational safety requirements for general industry, maritime and construction.
• Organized, detail-oriented, dependable and persistent.
• Ability to communicate with various levels of employees.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word & Outlook) as well as CRM data management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
• In depth knowledge of estimating, scheduling, project controls and contracts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Sales Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Rapid City, SD 57702: Relocate before starting work (Required)
