Industrial Painter
Our Client is a growing engineer driven company that creates custom material handling solutions for customers, including the largest e-commerce supplier in the world. The Client started in 2003, and is now occupying three buildings in Coopersville, MI, has 65+ employees!
General Information:
Job Title: Industrial Painter
Location: Coopersville, MI
Job Type: Prior experience painting custom projects a plus
Pay: $18.00-$24.00/hr. as well as overtime and bonus potential

- 05:00AM-3:30PM Monday – Thursday.
- When work increases, we work 05:00AM-11:30AM on Fridays.
- **NO MANDATORY SATURDAY OR SUNDAY WORK. Saturdays are volunteer only, and we never work Sundays**

Job Tasks:
- As an Industrial Painter, you will be painting components to be assembled and assist in the paint department in various capacities as needed.
- Use a pressure pot to direct spray rapid dry wet enamel on to parts
- Use a fork truck to move/de-stack parts for the next step in the process
- Use a pressure washer to wash and prep parts, which includes drying parts, to be painted as necessary (this position is accompanied with a designated Washer to prep parts most of the time)
- Mix and thin paint for industrial spray guns
- Operate, maintain and perform preventative maintenance on paint booth and related equipment
- Read tags and labels for instructions on where to paint and frames and brackets
Job Requirements:
- Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license
- Prior experience driving a Hi-Lo preferred
- Must be 18 or older
- 2+ years of painting customer/changing projects experience required
- Experience cutting in and out of parts, having your hand continually moving
- Experience painting a variety of part sizes from small weldments to large frames
