Industrial / Manufacturing Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and skilled industrial/Manufacturing Engineer(s). You will be responsible for designing and improving the wide range of manufacturing and/or material handling/storage systems. Oversee the implementation and installation of various industrial systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize Industrial Systems including Automation, Manufacturing, and material handling equipment
- Develop manufacturing processes, layouts, and labor requirements using AutoCAD and engineering tools
- Analyze and manage the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) data and material planning for the production lines
- Create and update area layouts to maximize space utilization and efficiency
- Coordinate with stakeholders and obtain buy-off on the proposed concepts and layouts
- Develop and document the facility requirements
- Supervise and support the installation, testing, and operation of the systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems with the systems
- Monitor and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the systems and suggest improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field is highly desired
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in industrial/Manufacturing Engineering
- Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with other software tools is a plus
- Experience in Automotive and/or Non-Automotive manufacturing processes, Automation and Equipment.
- Well-versed in material planning, PFEP data analysis, and warehouse space optimization strategies
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to travel up to 30%. Some Projects will require more or less travel, and in some cases out-of state travel will be required.
