Must have experience in industrial pipe fitting.
Required Qualifications:
- Applicant should understand how to use pipe threading and cutting equipment.
- Must be able to operate power and hand tools securely
- Must know how to read a ruler accurately
- Must have a background in pipe fitting steel, plastic and copper piping.
- Must have knowledge of steam plant piping, valves, and steam traps both in high and low steam pressures.
- Must have experience in sewer rodding and drain cleaning.
- Must know how to use a gas torch and must know how to arc weld.
- Must have knowledge of pump repairs and pump maintenance on centrifugal, diaphragm, and gear pumps.
- Knowledge of rebuilding pumps is a plus
- Applicant must be able to work with minimal oversight.
