Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment. Document work activities in the CMMS system.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, cylinders.
- Repair brake, clutch, and tension control systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair 24VDC, 120VAC, 240VAC, and 480VAC electrical systems. Including basic understanding of ladder logic and PLC troubleshooting.
- Maintain and operate process boiler, plant air compressors, and fire protection systems.
- Work independently or with other team members, supervisors, engineers, and operators to schedule and complete assigned work orders.
- Help identify root causes for breakdowns and contribute skill knowledge to all parties.
- Maintain maintenance areas to 6S, HSE, and Quality standards.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and properly check out parts from the storeroom.
- Replace or repair motors, AC/DC drives and control circuits.
- Perform equipment calibrations per ISO requirements.
- Repair and maintain high voltage test equipment.
- Reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in Industrial Maintenance.
- Machining and fabrication knowledge: Lathe, milling machine, drill press, pipe threader, band saws.
- Cutting torch and Welders (GMAW, SMAW, GTAW).
- Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems.
- Advanced PLC and HMI control systems experience (Allen Bradley and Siemens).
- Ability to read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic schematics, and plumbing and instrumentation diagrams.
- Problem solving, leadership, communication, and managing the assigned task.
