Industrial Maintenance Technician -1St Shift

Join us as a Maintenance Tech in our Hanover Park facility.
You will be installing, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing machinery, equipment at our facility.
What is in it for you?

• The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is: $27.50 - $31.00. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

More details about the opportunity:

• Working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and machinery noise
• Support manufacturing production lines with technical expertise to ensure operations achieves business objectives.
• Trouble shooting various equipment such conveyors, coaters, labelers, and presses. There is a lot of automation and robotics within this facility.
• Reading electrical/hydraulic blueprints and schematics
• Working with a lot of new projects and machinery coming in to make production more efficient.
• Conduct preventative maintenance per department plan.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and Participate in Continuous Improvement activities, as well as Gemba walks and Kaizen circles.

Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!):
1st shift: 6am to 2pm
(Overtime will be required as needed)
Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs. Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.
