Mechanical Maintenance Technician | Lafayette, IN | 1st & 3rd Shift
Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with an extremely well-known manufacturing company near the Lafayette, IN area that's looking to hire on both 1st and 3rd shift Maintenance Technicians. We're looking for candidates who have experience within an industrial/manufacturing setting. Please read below for more information.
Pay: up to $35 per hour, depending on experience. 1.5x hourly rate for any hours over 8 per day, 2x hourly rate for any Saturdays or Sundays.
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, etc. One pair of steel-toe boots paid for by the company per year.
Shift(s): 1st shift (7a-3p or 7a-7p) and 3rd shift (7p-7a)
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot industrial manufacturing equipment, making electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Correctly follow the preventative maintenance schedule for general upkeep of industrial machinery.
- Analyze manufacturing process and provide continuous improvement input.
- Use electrical knowledge to hook up wires on new equipment.
Requirements:
- Electrical and mechanical aptitude is required.
- Experience in a maintenance position for a manufacturing company is required.
