Industrial Hygienist

General Summary:

Utilize knowledge from IDPH and other state licensures to conduct daily activities, and consistently exercise discretion and judgment in the performance of such activities. Conduct asbestos and/or lead based paint inspections, project management oversight and air sampling during abatement activities. Conduct OSHA Compliance monitoring. Conduct air quality surveys. Prepare a report based on these duties.

General responsibilities include:

• Conducting Investigations
• Conducting on-site Abatement Project Management
• Conducting Air Sampling
• Conducting Mold Evaluations
• Assisting in the development of Project Designs
• Conducting Lead Inspections, Risk Assessments and Clearance Sampling
• Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
• Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
• Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have three years of experience
• Reliable auto
• Valid driver’s license
• Short-range travel required. Mileage is reimbursable.
