What to expect
The Industrial Engineer will lead and manage the implementation of Warehouse Management/Labor Management systems for clients. The IE will provide guidance, leadership, project management, and ensure overall design and workflows are delivered successfully. The IE will serve as a project lead and provide current state analysis of client's operational workflows as well as deliver future state design.
The Industrial Engineer will serve as a key contributor in hands-on system configuration, integration testing, user acceptance testing, client training, and go-live support. The IE will be required to work across cross-functional teams both internal and client.
Once you join our team, you will…
- Conduct time and motion studies and work measurement tasks for development of engineered labor standards, cost-benefit analysis, and process re-engineering activities
- Analyze results of various studies and assist in the creation of engineered labor standards.
- Development of project proposals, presentations, and new client activities as requested.
- Provide Industrial Engineering expertise to cross functional teams to deliver improved manufacturing facilities and processes.
- Work is Remote in the US, but need to live near major airport for client travel.
- Travel: 50%
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s in Industrial & Systems Engineering
- 2 to 5 years’ experience with WM/LM systems (JDA/Blue Yonder preferred)
- Experience and understanding of distribution center environment.
- MOST certification a plus
- Experience with stat/data analysis
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to advise/present in front of senior leadership and/or large group of floors employees.
- Strong Excel-based background, regression analysis, and data-mining techniques
