Indirect Procurement Manager

Position Summary:  

The Indirect Procurement Manager sources, contracts, and manages the performance of Indirect i.e., non-product, non-raw material, etc., suppliers used by Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling. This position reports into the Reyes Holdings Strategic Sourcing team and services the Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling (RCCB) Production & Distribution sites.  

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: 

• Provide operational support to Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling Production and Distribution Centers regarding procurement of Indirect material goods and services
• Collaborate with Reyes Holdings Strategic Sourcing team, actively and continuously search for savings opportunities and process efficiencies across the Company’s portfolio of indirect goods and service purchases, including but not limited to the following categories:
  • Capital Equipment for production lines
  • Equipment repair and maintenance agreements
  • Uniforms and safety shoes
  • Pallets
  • Supplies including Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) stretch wrap and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Waste and Recycling
  • Location services including security guards, landscaping, snow removal
  • Professional services
• Lead Request for Proposal and Request for Quote development and execution as well as commercial negotiations as appropriate
• Enforce compliance with all Reyes Holdings and Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling purchasing policies and approved vendors across the company’s locations
• Work with the company’s Legal team to negotiate terms and enter into new supplier contracts and/or manage and modify existing contracts.  Manage Contract Renewal process as directed
• Act as contract administrator for all Indirect purchase contracts, making sure appropriate legal and procurement review is completed, authorized signatures are obtained, and all contracts and related documents are stored in a contract repository (ARIBA) for RCCB
• Represent the Company with the appropriate Advisory Committees and other applicable bodies within CCBSS
• Provide direction and support as needed on the procurement related functionality of the Company’s SAP Ariba system
• Monthly Reporting to key stakeholders on savings, contract renewals, Project pipeline (New, Completed, In Progress) and Risks or issues with execution
• Other projects or duties as assigned
• Manages supplier relationship and manage vendor risk for critical suppliers and leads resolution to major supply issues

Required Skills and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or other related field and 6+ years of experience in procurement and/or supply chain OR High School Diploma and 9+ years of experience in procurement and/or supply chain
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter with strong initiative mindset
• Operations / Facilities Supply Chain experience
• Strong negotiation experience
• Ability to apply multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Microsoft Office suite skills (i.e., Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
• Travel up to 10%
• Candidate must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering related Discipline, Supply Chain or other related
• Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of sourcing commodity strategies focused on cost reduction and manufacturing process improvements
• Comprehensive understanding of legal contracting principles and creation of complex commercial agreements
• Prior experience with Indirect procurement in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with SAP S4 Hana & Ariba
