Location: Richmond, El Cerrito, San Pablo and surrounding cities!

Compensation:

• Hourly Wage: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
• Expense and Mileage Reimbursement
• Hiring Bonus - up to $450 (see details below)

Position Overview:

• As an Independent Living Skills Coach with Thrive Support Services, you will play a pivotal role in working closely with individuals who have developmental disabilities. Your primary goal is to enable them to achieve their dreams of independence and active community engagement.
• The Independent Living Skills Coach is a part-time position, working 20-29 hours + per week.
• You have the ability to set your own work schedule. Plan your workday within a consecutive 7-hour window, anytime between 8 am and 7 pm, from Monday to Friday (including travel time).
• Independent Living Skills Coach's work with 6-8 clients on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities:

• As a Independent Living Skills Coach your responsibilities will include assisting clients in achieving a variety of goals, such as:
  • Effective money management
  • Organized medical, dental, and medication management
  • Basic cooking and meal preparation
  • Navigating public transportation
  • Finding affordable housing options
  • Accessing and maintaining benefits, including Social Security, Medi-Cal, Medicare, and more
  • Encouraging community involvement and fostering social connections
  • Managing household maintenance tasks

Qualifications:

• Auto insurance coverage with 100k/300k bodily injury liability
• Successful clearance through a DOJ/FBI fingerprint check
