Join our team at Hackbarth Delivery Service and be a part of our growing delivery and transportation business. General Route Summary:
The driver will be handling retail, wholesale, industrial, and medical supplies. All routes are 5 days/week. **YOU MUST CURRENTLY OWN OR LEASE THE REQUIRED VEHICLE**
Vehicle type needed: Cargo, Mini, and Sprinter Vans
- Pay Rate: $600.00 - $1500.00 per week!
- Schedules Available: Monday through Friday
- Total Miles: 50 - 150 per day
- Total Stops: 8-14
- Weight: Weight: Heaviest piece weighs 50 lbs. May have 3-5 of these per day or more
Vehicle type needed: 16’-26’ Box Trucks
- Pay Rate: $1,000.00 - $1,800.00 per week!
- Schedules Available: Monday through Friday
- Total Miles: 50 - 150 per day
- Total Stops: 8-14
Weight: Weight: Heaviest piece weighs 50 lbs. May have 3-5 of these per day or more
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a cargo, sprinter, mini van or Box Truck to deliver goods to various destinations.
- Ensure the secure and timely transport of cargo, following all safety and traffic regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to coordinate deliveries and maintain a high level of customer service.
- Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and care.
Qualifications:
- Contractors must live within 30-45 Minutes of Shreveport and Monroe, Louisiana.
- own or lease a Cargo Van, Sprinter Van, Mini Van, or Box Truck.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of navigational devices.
- Experience as a cargo/sprinter van driver preferred.
- Must be over 21.
- Knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy packages (Up to 50lbs).
- Reliable and punctual.
