Summary
Meta is seeking a motivated, organized, detail-oriented candidate to join our Incident Response Team. The right candidate must have a strong work ethic, excellent judgment, and exceptional partnering skills.
Required Skills
Incident Response Team Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Bring operational excellence to a team that evaluates threat, risk and user privacy in a world centered around time critical emergency escalations
  • Make immediate decisions based on a variety of complex factors that will include imminence, sensitive issues and graphic content and coordinate with several internal and external partners including law enforcement to ensure user's safety
  • Be willing and able to work with sensitive issues and potentially graphic and/or objectionable content, including but not limited to graphic images, videos, and audio, offensive or derogatory language, and other potential objectionable material, i.e. child exploitation, graphic violence, self-injury and suicide content which may be considered offensive or disturbing
  • Create and articulate responses to questions from law enforcement, government agencies, and internal teams regarding Incident Response policy and process
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive improvements to policies and processes across teams
  • Availability to work weekend days on a rotational basis or a regular schedule of either Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday

Minimum Qualification
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in investigative or analytical roles
  • Experience analyzing information to assess threat and risk
  • Experience making important decisions independently and multi-tasking under pressure, responding quickly to changing situations in complex environments without compromising quality
  • Experience with social media, analytical tools and/or online research
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in investigative or analytical roles involving time critical escalations and real world harm
  • Self-starter requiring minimal direction

Preferred Qualification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management, Operations or Process Improvement Experience
  • Experience with Crisis Management, Government Agencies or Law Enforcement
  • Experience adapting communication style to suit different stakeholders like cross-functional teams and law enforcement
  • Bilingual or multilingual individuals - preference toward individuals with fluency in any of the following languages: Hindi, Bengali, Portuguese or Spanish
