We are currently hiring for a Incident Investigator!

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Incident Investigator is expected to file reports for all incidents that occur in relation to clients. Investigations are completed for Serious Reportable Incidents (SRIs), Recordable Incidents and complaints. The investigator must complete investigations according to agency procedure and will remain in compliance with all reporting and investigating time frames. The investigator is responsible for fully investigating reported concerns which includes: assessing the situation, obtaining statements from all involved, and reviewing supporting documentation in an effort to determine if the allegation is substantiated. The investigator must be able to accurately and thoroughly document investigatory findings and recommendations without bias or inflection, and must maintain confidentiality at all times. The investigator will look for trends in relation to clients and/or employees, and make recommendations for follow up actions.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• File all necessary SRIs;
• File all necessary recordable incidents;
• File all necessary Complaint reports;
• Ensure follow up on the above
• Report to the Serious Incident Review Committee;
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions;
• Attend educational events;
• Other tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice or equivalent
• The ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, write robust reports, effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to other employees of the agency, and evaluate and refine systems throughout the agency.
• Proficient in the use of office equipment and the computer; Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Self-directing and organized with quality interpersonal skills.

Pay: $20.50 per hour
