In order to continue to best serve our clientele and employees, we are searching for a Corporate Attorney to provide trusted advisory and ensure strategic planning towards continued expansion!
Responsibilities:
- Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, contracts, corporate finance etc.)
- Collaborate with senior management to create best practices for internal and external processes (employment law, sales, subcontracting, vendor agreements, etc).
- Regularly monitor compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Research and evaluate best practices for mitigating risk, regarding continued expansion and operations.
- Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust
- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights are maintained and that all stakeholders are effectively addressed.
- Provide clarification on legal specifications or contracts, to stakeholders.
- Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility!
- Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation, effecting any aspect of the organizations operations!
- Work with owners to devise efficient defense strategies, as needed
Qualifications:
-Must currently reside in the Tacoma, WA
-Must be licensed in the state of Washington
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Employment law and construction/ contracting law experience preferred!
-Business oriented
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Experience in legal drafting and preparing legal documents
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Pay: $156,309.00 - $216,739.00 per year
