Job Description:
As an Instructional Aide, you will work closely with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one to a student based on their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
- Collaborating with teachers to implement instructional strategies that cater to the unique learning needs of the student.
- Offering support in classroom activities and helping the student with assignments.
- Assisting with the implementation of any behavior management plan.
- Providing feedback to teachers regarding student progress and challenges.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree or 60 college credits
- Previous experience working in an educational setting or with students with special needs is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students.
- Ability to follow and implement IEP guidelines.
- Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of students.
Work Schedule:
- Mon-Fri; 3 hours per day
