A caregiver provides a safe and clean environment for seniors by providing professional care-giving services that enable clients to remain independent in their home. Each client has unique needs and we tailor our services to meet those needs. Caregivers must be responsible, dependable, compassionate, caring, and flexible individuals. Experience in household management for non-medical, in-home support services is preferred.
Job Description
- Performing light housework (dusting, sweeping, mopping, organizing, bathrooms, taking out the trash, laundry, changing linens)
- Preparing nutritious meals and assistance with eating
- Running errands/shopping
- Providing companionship and social interaction
- Assist with grooming and hygiene
- Assist with mobility
- Respite care
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Resume must be current
- One personal and one professional reference is required
- Reliability and dependability are a must
- Personal or professional experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Physical ability to complete tasks as outlined in the job description
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and the ability to be on time to assigned shifts
- Complete and pass a criminal background check
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
