Ims Core Engineer

Looking for IMS Core Engineer in Dallas, TX.

What you will be doing as an IMS Core Engineer:

• 5G Subscriber Profile provisioning for Verizon use cases using SPML GUI.
• Health Check, Alarm monitoring of all 5G Core nodes like HSS, HLR, SDL, PGW, AAA, SDLA, UDM, CBAM, SPML GUI.
• Supporting Verizon Team in Call test where 5G Core is used.
• Troubleshooting, log collection and Salesforce ticket opening.
• Involvement in MVNO 5G/4G project for ATP execution and Core deployment over Open Stack based Verizon Cloud infrastructure.
• Software Upgrade and instantiations using MOP.

What you will bring to the table as an IMS Core Engineer:

• Extensive knowledge of UDM and UDR
• Basic software testing experience with TCPIP, HTML, XML
• Linux experience (e.g. login, navigate directory/file structure, view log files, transfer and extract log files etc.)
• Knowledge in network technologies and protocols including SS7, Sigtran, TCP/IP, Routing/Switching, Network Security, Network Management, DNS, Radius, LDAP, MAP, Diameter Policy Control and Charging
• Troubleshooting skills on UDM/UDR, IP networking, Unix or Linux.
• Oracle Database/SQL query development for testing
• Scripting language familiarity (not coding but updating), Python, Perl, Java Script etc.
• Defect tracking tool experience eg, Jira (preferred), HP Quality Center or similar.
• Requirement/user story analysis for test case creation
• Writing test cases, reporting testing results, facilitating troubleshooting issues as needed
