Job Description
Leading Freight Forwarder in the Ontario area is seeking a Freight Forwarding Account Executive to join their growing branch! This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Logistics/Transportation Sales, primarily with bringing in new accounts.
Full Time: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Salary: 55K-68K Base
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to internal/external clients via phone/email while serving as the first point of contact for the company
- Present company services to potential clients while meeting/exceeding sales goals
- Calculate accurate rates/quotes while ensuring the customers needs are met
- Prepare customer agreements/contracts
- Accurately utilizing the company database to maintain/update customer accounts
- Transfer invoice data into local systems while accurately prorating the revenue based on contracts/agreements
- Compile and maintain customer account records
- Document and ensure proper keeping of financial records, making use of current technologies
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in Business Development for the Freight Forwarding Industry
- Knowledge of International Freight Forwarding
- Book of business is a huge plus, but not required
- Experience leading a team of Account Executives to include sales training, goal setting, etc.
