Job description
Your Role Responsibilities include but are not limited :
Manage the end-to-end coordination of LCL/FCL, air shipments, overseeing the entire process from booking at origins to final delivery, covering ocean, air, and domestic shipments.
- Maintain effective and clear communication with origin teams, SSL, Airlines, and customers, providing them with detailed shipping information, pricing, and updates.
- Implement meticulous shipment tracking and monitoring procedures, ensuring customers are consistent informed about the progress of their shipments.
- Prepare and process the necessary documentation required for efficient customs clearance, which includes commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Facilitate a seamless post-destination follow-up process to ensure timely cargo release and expedited delivery.
- Ensure accurate and timely milestone updates in our systems to facilitate timely file closure and invoicing without delays.
- Coordinate export booking confirmations, submit AES filings, arrange trucker pickups, and manage container gate-ins, all while adhering to set deadlines.
- Cultivate and nurture strong customer relationships, offering a top-notch Customer Service experience that aligns with our commitment to excellence.
- Collaborate closely with vendors, truckers, and customers to deliver innovative freight solutions and a superior level of Customer Service.
- Prefer 2+ years of international freight forwarding experience with ocean and air products.
- Bilingual Chinese /English.
- Understanding and following policies and procedures.
- Tracking and tracing basic shipments or product.
- Understanding of providers, carriers and services in related supply chain environments.
- Communicating potential concerns or delays.
- Operating in a fast pace and changing environment.
- Operating in both a team and individual contributor environment.
- Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction.
- Preparing basic reports, queries, and operational information.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
