SUMMARY
The Implementation Consultant is responsible for scope, timeline, cross-functional resource management and client relationship during the implementation of responsive websites. The role is expected to keep abreast of the latest products, design best practices, web usability guidelines and solutions, and provides guidance and insight to clients on best practices. They work closely with clients, delivery teams, and sales to validate and control scope against the contract, communicate and manage timelines to ensure on-time, in scope, and defect free solution delivery.
Throughout the implementation of the Implementation Consultant will be responsible for escalation and resolution of project risks and issues, ensuring that the solution is delivered on time and with high quality. The role functions in a matrixed organization of shared resources, manages a portfolio of projects with varying priorities, and is accountable to financial targets.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage Implementation projects / client communication.
- Leading client calls to understand their project goals and requirements.
- Establishing and managing project scope.
- Scheduling and hosting a project kickoff meeting, along with frequent check-ins to keep the project moving according to timeline.
- Assigning tasks and responsibilities to internal team members.
- Streamlining communication between internal team members.
- Monitoring project progress and clearing roadblocks.
- Double-checking all project deliverables for accuracy.
- Sending progress updates to clients as needed.
- Delivering the final project and summary to the client.
- Help to clear impediments blocking team progress. Actively address issues so the team can remain focused on achieving the objectives of the iteration.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Working experience managing projects from concept to completion.
