Job description

In this position you will be responsible for providing domain subject matter expertise on Application Programming Interfaces (API) to help clients maximize the value of the ADP partnership and to drive their business success. Responsible for the delivery of exceptional revenue generating API consulting services to enable and optimize business outcomes and enhance organizational effectiveness. As an API Technical Consultant, you will work closely with ADP's clients, manage expectations, and respond effectivity to client's needs. Identify and propose specific business strategies, initiatives, and process improvements to align the ADP HCM solution with business objectives and to achieve desired outcomes. Builds and supports Marketplace's API strategy of being the centralize home of APIs Focus on thorough understanding of client's business to effectively influence strategic direction of current and future needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops and enhances strategic business relationships with clients.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor and consultant by providing recommendations on system or process optimization and implements those recommendations for the client.
  • Partners with Business Consultants, Business Analysts and Sales to align with strategic client needs.
  • Responsible for developing a strong ADP brand image in the professional consulting/services field.
  • Assists clients in auditing their internal processes and recommending workflow, data and integration changes as well as business process improvements aligned with industry best practices.
  • Identifies additional opportunities to increase revenue through billable hours and ensures the application of the appropriate consulting fees.
  • Collaborates with Operations Executive to ensure financial targets are reached.
  • Typically manages larger and/or more complex accounts/projects for specialized engagements requiring in-depth knowledge of integrations and data trends.
  • This level is normally used for associates who have demonstrated successful experience in a prior consulting or integration focused role and are continuing their professional development in this career family.
  • Works under consultative direction, often autonomously the majority of the time on most procedural matters.
  • Occasionally may collaborate with other team members / leaders in arriving at unique solution approach.
  • Due to the complex nature of clients, must recognize most effective approach to implement and optimize API services.
  • In consultation with the supervisor, may make decisions impacting the scope, direction and outcome of the project based on client's business needs.
  • Accountable for providing domain subject matter expertise and the delivery of exceptional revenue generating APIs to help clients maximize the value of the integration partnership and to drive business success.
  • Participates as a key contributor in the execution and deployment of defined components of the SOW. Acts as a trusted advisor and consultant by providing recommendations on system, process, and/or strategic practices and implements those recommendations for the client.
  • Accountable for execution/deployment of multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Accountable for developing strategic relationships with clients and a strong ADP brand image in the Marketplace Consulting Field.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge in the areas of integrations and ongoing knowledge of current industry and market trends.
  • Identifies additional opportunities to increase revenue through billable hours and ensures the application of the appropriate consulting fees.
  • Increasing interactions with leadership to keep them informed and escalate unresolved issues.
  • May apply persuasive communication skills to help balance expectations of Sales and project teams.
  • May also help coordinate the support of Marketplace partners who provide services to the client during various project phases.
  • Interacts with client's leadership team and key stakeholders to keep them informed or request their intervention in difficult issues impacting project timing.
  • May provide procedural advice to other members of the team.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of High School Diploma
  • Robust knowledge of ADP API's
  • Integration, IT, Professional Services and/or HCM Consulting experience
  • Ability to solve complex problems, align resources and indirectly influence to drive change
  • Knowledge and skill to align our client's business processes to ADP technology, show the client how to use the API technology, manage certificates and demonstrate future possibilities to maximize their investment
  • Troubleshooting and Analysis Technical Communication - written and verbal Problem-Solving Organization and Time Management Probing

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $65,900.00 - $131,700 / Year
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions.
